Daisuke to The DL
WEEI 850 AM in Boston, is reporting that Red Sox pitcher Daisuke Matsuzaka will be put on the DL with shoulder fatigue. The Red Sox will call up reliever Hunter Jones. Many will point to the World Baseball Classic as the blame for this short stint on the DL. Did he simply over work his arm in pitching in those games in March? Now I know he was named the MVP in both Classics but he works for the Red Sox and that is the bottom line. Furthermore, this is no way for an employee to report to work.
